Perhaps the best kept secret of Southern cuisine, the rich, smoky flavor of jowl bacon rivals that of traditional bacon. When prepared properly, the result is bacon that's crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Approx. 1.02 lb/package. Sizes may vary. Choose from two types of jowl bacon:

Type 1-Natually Smoked
Hickory-smoked and cured with celery juice. No nitrites or nitrates, except those which are naturally occuring in celery juice powder. Available frozen and vacuum-sealed. 

Type 2-Hickory Smoked
Cured with a conventional cure. Contains: water, salt, sugar, sodium nitrite, maple syrup, dextrose, sodium erythorbate, sodium citrate, sodium carbonate. Available frozen and vacuum-sealed.
